SKK Induction Care and Use Guidelines
These general Guidelines are published by SKK
First Use
Before using your new SKK Cookware, wash the pan in hot water. Next heat a little oil in the dry pan and allow it to cool before pouring off and wiping clean with some kitchen paper.
When Using your Cookware Regularly
SKK cookware works best on a low to medium heat. Avoid overheating as this can reduce the efficacy of the non-stick, particularly when using oil for frying. SKK pans heat up quickly and retain the heat, so start by applying just a low to medium heat.
Plastic and wooden utensils are recommended. Metal utensils can be used with care but do not prod or cut with metal utensils in the pan. It is best not to use sharp utensils thus, reducing the risk of damage.
Do not leave the pan empty on a heat source as this can damage the non stick
In time the centre of the cooking surface will take on a slightly brown appearance. This is normal so please don't attempt to remove.
Easy To Clean
To maintain the appearance and cooking quality of your SKKcookware, wash it well with a brush and hot, soapy water, having left it to cool down first. Any food that is stuck to the surface due to overheating can be easily removed with a nylon scouring pad. We do not recommend use in your dishwasher as the detergents used are aggressive and can harm the non-stick coating. SKK products are not designed for storing food. They should be cleaned immediately after use.
