Healthy Cooking Saucepan!
Rather than use a traditional non-stick material such as PTFE (used in Teflon for example), Gastrolux use Biotan, a patented high tech surface. The water forms pearls of liquid on the pan surface like water drops on a plant leaf. This avoids the potentially carcinogenic fumes that some believe traditional non-stick pans using PTFE can give off at high temperatures.
The Biotan works so well it is non-stick WITHOUT the use of oils - so get ready to enjoy fat free cooking!
