I thought it might be useful to customers if I set out the exact warranty on the Staub Cocottes and other cookware. You should get a leaflet with your order giving you care and maintenance details, plus details of the warranty, but in case you loose this or want it in advance, here is the warranty:

WARRANTY

Staub's lifetime warranty is valid from the date of purchase and for as long as you have your enamelled cast iron product.

The lifetime warranty covers all manufacturing and quality defects in the product as long as it is used in normal domestic conditions and in compliance with the recommendations for use and care instructions contained in the leaflet enclosed with the product. The lifetime warranty does not cover normal wear and tear on the product, nor the consequences of incorrect use.

The expert appraisal of the damage and the decision whether or not to exchange the product are the responsibility of Staub.

The lifetime warranty is limited exclusively to the free repair of the defective item or, if it were to prove impossible to repair, the replacement of the item with the same product, or a similar product if the model is no longer manufactured. In view of the regular changes to our range of products, we are unable to guarantee to provide the same colour or exactly the same size.

As soon as they receive it, our technical departments will examine the complaint and, where necessary, ask you to return the product with a case number. The defective product, proof of purchase and the case number must then be sent to the address below:
