Where is Paderno Grand Gourmet cookware made?

A customer on sister site www.frying-pan.co.uk asked us where our Paderno Grand Gourmet cookware was made and I thought it would help customers here I posted the answer on this blog, too.
I can confirm that our Paderno Cookware is made in Italy. You can buy the Paderno saucepans, stock pots and casseroles on this site and the Paderno Grand Gourmet frying pans and saute pans on our sister site.
Paderno comes in a number of different ranges. We just sell the Paderno Grand Gourmet cookware which is one step up from the Paderno Professional cookware range.
There has been a bit of confusion in the market place as the Paderno Canada website has recently appeared. I do not know whether this company is simply an agent for Paderno Italy or whether some cookware is now being made in Canada. However, I can confirm that our route of supply is Italy.
The Paderno pans have primarily been used in professional kitchens in Europe. It would be good to see them follow the likes of Mauviel MCook Cookware and Staub cast iron cookware into the retail or domestic market as I think they are very good value. Partly because the brand is not that well known in UK, so you do not have to pay for a big name!
